Dakwah Moderat Gus Yusuf Wijaya dalam Menanamkan Nilai-Nilai Moderasi Beragama pada Jama`ah Kebun Krecek Kabupaten Pasuruan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moderate da'wah strategy implemented by Gus Yusuf Wijaya in instilling the values of religious moderation and its impact on the Kebun Krecek congregation in Pasuruan Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the da'wah process in the social, cultural, and religious context of the local community. This study was conducted in Kebun Krecek, Pasuruan Regency, with Gus Yusuf Wijaya and several active members of the congregation as research subjects selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that Gus Yusuf Wijaya's moderate da'wah strategy is implemented through spiritual, cultural, and social approaches. The spiritual approach is realized through the activities of the Naqshbandi Order (Tariqah Naqshbandiyah), the recitation of Sholawat Nariyah, dhikr, and regular religious meetings. The cultural approach is carried out through the preservation of religious traditions such as the commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad's birthday (Mawlid) and the Islamic New Year (1 Muharram). Meanwhile, the social approach is realized through charitable activities for orphans, community service programs, and other social initiatives. These strategies have contributed to increased religious awareness, stronger social solidarity, and the internalization of religious moderation values such as tawasuth (simplicity), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i'tidal (justice) in the daily lives of the congregation, thus fostering a religious, harmonious, and inclusive community based on the principles of Islam Rahmatan lil 'Alamin.
