Digital transformation has brought about significant changes in how Muslims access and study the Quran. As a product of information technology, social media offers immense opportunities for the widespread, rapid, and interactive dissemination of Quranic studies. This study aims to critically examine the dynamics of the digitalization of Quranic studies via social media, along with the accompanying opportunities and challenges. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach based on a literature review and thematic analysis, this paper demonstrates that social media can expand the reach of Islamic outreach (*da'wah*) and make Quranic studies more inclusive. However, ease of access also gives rise to serious challenges—specifically, the proliferation of content lacking scholarly authority—which can erode the sacredness of the Quran and confuse the general public. Therefore, there is a need for robust Islamic digital literacy, the active involvement of religious scholars and academics, and regulations that ensure the authenticity of religious content in the digital space.
