Urban youth in Indonesia have become increasingly prominent in the past two decades, in line with the pace of urbanization, globalization, and the development of digital technology. Urban Muslim youth are not only consumers of popular culture but also important actors in constructing Islamic identities in the public sphere, both through hijrah communities, digital da'wah, and everyday practices. This article examines the dynamics of urban youth negotiating identities, forming communities, and participating in the social and political life of citizenship. This research method uses a literature study approach and discourse analysis to highlight how young people shape urban Muslims . This article shows that young urban Muslims construct hybrid identities that combine religiosity with modern lifestyles, develop solidarity through hijrah communities, and expand their socio-political roles through digital spaces. This article emphasizes that the process of becoming urban Muslims is a creative response by young people to the challenges of modernity and a new form of religiosity in the global era.
