Evaluasi Dakwah Transformatif Berbasis Pelayanan Sosial: Studi pada Akun Instagram Masjid yang Menyediakan Layanan Makan dan Tempat Istirahat Gratis

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing role of social media in expanding da'wah practices and mosque social services, especially amidst the dynamics of urban society that requires easily accessible social support spaces. The urgency of this research arises from the need to understand how transformative da'wah is realized through digital-based social services, such as those carried out by the Instagram accounts @masjidpemuda.ind and @masjidsejutapemuda. This study aims to evaluate the narrative of transformative da'wah constructed in the digital space, how the free meal and rest area services impact recipients, and how volunteers and administrators interpret their involvement. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design through observation of Instagram content, in-depth interviews, and digital document analysis. Data triangulation was conducted to obtain a comprehensive picture of da'wah practices based on social services. The results show that both mosques utilize Instagram as a tool for documentation, transparency, and social mobilization. The food and rest area services provide material, emotional, and spiritual impacts for recipients, while volunteers experience a strengthening of religious identity. The use of rich media creates an interactive and participatory digital community. The study concludes that the integration of social services and digital media strengthens the mosque's function as a center of empowerment and social solidarity. This study contributes to the development of an action-based digital da'wah model. Future research is recommended to expand the scope of study, employ mixed methods, and explore other digital platforms.
